A "fey" is a mystical creature with supernatural abilities, that has a connection to an aspect of nature, often in the form of a location or force or element. For instance, each dryad is bonded to a specific tree, while the norns are innately tied to fate itself.
Fey are usually human-shaped, at least in part, but usually have some significant trait or aspect that make them clearly inhuman. For instance, the satyr has a goat-like lower body & feet, while piexies are the size of an insect and have butterfly-wings.
Sylvan is universally the language of the fey.
While most of them have never been there, it seems that the power of the fey is somehow rooted in the plane/dimension of Thelanis.
